Smoke Embroidered

Smoke created digitally converted into cross-stitch. The idea of this poster is based on the concept chaos and order, by turning 'chaotic' images into 'order'. Experimenting the boundaries between digital and crafts, between order and disorder. This project was created under my Masters of Art in Graphic Design at LCC. Chaos & Order

This book was designed to visually illustrate a range of experiments that explore the concept of chaos and order. The power of the grid in graphic design inspired this project, since the grid is a crucial element in finding order beneath confusion.

The Digital Crafted: Hands, Tools and Technology

‘The Digital Crafted’ explores the role graphic design has within digital and handmade processes. It investigates possible ways of transforming mass production into craft production, to bring traditional values and human attributes to a digital environment. The purpose of this project is to encourage graphic designers to rethink their ways of approaching a brief without being restricted to the use of a computer. Consideration of materials, processes and media as a central conveyor changes the meaning in communication. Similarly, I want to make the production process more creative, and ultimately, influence the creative process of the designer.

Gift set

Paradise. Gourmet-club™ have launched a new product - сoffee briquettes - for selling through their own coffee-shop network. Artel Artyomovyh (www.designartel.com) have developed the packaging design for 3 groups of coffee: classic, exclusive, maragogipe. As they intended to manufacture a small number of coffee briquettes, the design company decided to use a  common packaging design. Coffee types personification has been realized using individual stickers attached to the briquettes' surface. After that the gift set "World's best coffees" was designed. The set consists of the 8 most popular types of coffee, with the packaging designed to symbolize a traveller's suitcase. Project credits: Sergey Artemov, art director Gera Artemova, art director Kateryna Voytko, designer

The Ring

Smoky tentacles reach out from the Undertaker’s candle; its lingering wisps vow to be my faithful guide. An unearthly piano weaves a melodic embrace, heralding my impending venture into the Netherworld, where it awaits. Eagerly, I slip head-first through the loopy gateway towards that Otherworldly Bridge. Greeted and ushered by an amputated angel with black marble wings, I glided backwards down my destined path. As I unwind the sacred helix my visions blur, but finally I caught a glimpse of the raw beginning where life stir. To view more of my works, welcome to visit http://www.manxtsun.com
